Is it important to have people from different countries supporting humanitarian organization?In the late 20th Century and the early 21st Century learners have been growing up in a global environment. It is now possible for people from all around the world to communicate with each other in a daily basis. I have chosen the focus question (is it important to have people from a number of countries to support humanitarian organizations?).As I believe that it is very important to have world-wide support for these organizations. The more people that are aware of the problems and are able to help the better for those affected. Obviously the ability to communicate globally is going to greatly improve this process.To start with I want to show you how internet is important for the humanitarians associations e.g. (Red Cross/ Red Crescent). Established in 1863 in Geneva (Switzerland). It a small comity working in Switzerland but after they wanted to do in internationally. Of course at that time there wasn’t as much internet as now. But in 1998 it really stared to work more and more people visited their website and everyday more and more people are join and its becoming bigger.I think that people should help humanitarian association even if they don’t help physically but can help it by being online. There is a story about a young lady who was 18 years old who went to northern Tanzania from Australia. Once there she completely fell in love with this country. She saw that in this country there was no school, so she decided to make a school. In 2002 the school opened with but only with a small amount of students and teacher. Today is 2009 the school has almost 1200 students, 130 teachers, 200 staff. The internet is a big help for her so people can see what she has achieve. Did you ever thought if you are a good global citizen? If you are doing the right thing? Well after reading all of this I discovered that internet is very important in our days that most people cat not leave without it. I think we should have more people supporting humanitarians association. People are supporting a lot of thing but they don’t care a lot about this. So I encourage people from today to think about other people who don’t have the same opportunities as us here. And one last thing I want to say is the anyone can help anywhere, every day, every hour.
